Attendees will learn the techniques of gluing leather with contact cement, punching holes with pricking irons, saddle stitching with a stitching pony, polishing edges with edge bevelers and gum tragacanth to make their first leather pencil case. Additionally, we will show you all the steps in choosing the proper materials for your future leather projects, such as the weight of the leather, the size of the tread and needles, and where to find extra resources such as templates and online guides.
