Valentine's Chocolate Workshop
Hey! I’m Scout Destiny and I was able to host a chocolate-making workshop for Valentine’s Day. To prepare, I made 3D-printed hearts that could be used to make molds with the vacuum forum, which is a machine that heats up food-safe plastic that can be pressed down onto the 3D print, creating a mold.
Once the mold cooled, the excess plastic was cut to prepare the mold for the chocolate. Participants were then able to make their own molds and once ready to use, we melted chocolate, mixed in colors of choice, and poured it into the heart molds. The chocolate was poured around the edges to create a shell-like heart, left to harden and removed to create the valentine’s perfect gift.
With the chocolate heart, we created a unique presentation of chocolate treats hidden underneath ready to be revealed. Simply break the heart into pieces with a tiny wooden hammer and reveal your delicious chocolate creation. Users left with tiny gift boxes to keep for themselves or give to their special someone. It was a great experience and thankful for those that attended.
